Climate Change: Causes, Consequences, and Solutions

Get a speaker for your organization

CEMAR's Executive Director, Dr. Andrew Gunther, offers an informative presentation about climate change to organizations in the Bay Area. Dr. Gunther's presentation reviews the history of global warming, the physics of greenhouse effect, changes we are observing on the planet currently, and expected future problems.

Dr. Gunther was selected as a scientific speaker by Climate Voices, a project initiated by the United Nations Foundation and the University Center for Atmospheric Research, and he has spoken to state and federal agencies, business associations, community organizations, colleges, and high schools. This presentation is strictly nonpartisan, and has been well received by both conservative and liberal audiences.

There is no charge for the presentation, which takes about an hour and is followed by a question and answer period. You can request that Dr. Gunther speak to your organization by emailing climate "at" cemar.org or calling CEMAR (510.420.4565 x 101) with your contact information, the dates in which you are interested, and a brief description of the overall event.
