Climate Change: Causes, Consequences, and Solutions

CEMAR offers an informative and inspiring presentation about global climate change, its causes, consequences and solutions. This presentation is based upon the presentation of Vice-President Al Gore as featured in the Academy Award-winning film in An Inconvenient Truth. CEMAR's Executive Director, Dr. Andrew Gunther, was trained by Mr. Gore and his team at The Climate Project to give this presentation.

There is no charge for the presentation, which takes about an hour and is followed by a question and answer period. You can request that Dr. Gunther speak to your organization by emailing climate@cemar.org or calling CEMAR (510.420.4565 x 101) with your contact information, the dates in which you are interested, and a brief description of the overall event.

The Climate Project (information at climateproject.org) is a movement to educate and challenge citizens, and governments into action against the growing crisis of global warming. As a non-profit group, they do work to bring education, community information, research and citizen action programs to communities across the country.
